This is my final billboard for my newspaper. As you can see, I have changed nothing from my second draft as I was really happy with it however, I have added the website link which allows the audience to see that we are also online and they can find out about our newspaper and our stories on there.

After analysing my first draft, I realised that it looked to plain and boring. It wouldn't of attracted enough people. To develop my design, I changed the background colour to a similar tea stained look to give conventions of a newspaper because centuries ago newspapers would be like this. The typography still easily stands out. Below the logo and heading I added an extra tagline stating that the newspaper is a local tabloid for local people therefore they know it will include local news. Secondly I decided to move the images so that they all joint together showing how the time moves on through the images.

This was my first attempt at creating a billboard for my newspaper. As you can see, I was given inspiration from a billboard which I analysed. I chose a tagline 'top people take the express' as it connotes that by reading this newspaper that you are a top person. The three images are of Salford from over the years which shoes the progress and improvement on the city and we are implying that our newspaper has helped this. I have included the logo and newspaper title to give it recognition. The white background allows the dark, bold typography to stand out to the audience.
