This is an example of a newspaper radio advert which I found by researching on the internet. The conversation consists of two people which relates with a normal every day conversation however it doesn't have a very good flow to it. The conversation is quite slow and this could loose interest for the audience. The voice over is quite muffled and therefore this makes it seem un clear of what they are actually saying.

They have used advertisement of another company in their advert, the lottery, therefore it helps advertise this as well so people who put the lottery on are attracted as they know they can find out the results in this paper. When the person in the advert wins after finding the results in the newspaper this implies that by reading this newspaper that you could also be a winner therefore it has an incentive.

The jingle at the end of the radio advert gives a good feeling to the advert which reflects on the newspaper. The song makes the advert sound fun and this influences the audience to buy it.

I like the use of the jingle and the waqy they have used other advertisement, like the lottery, to sell their newspaper and I will think about using this in my own as I think it can be very effective.

The second radio advert I researched is this. I found that it was a lot better than the first one as it seemed like there was more time put into it and they thought about it in more depth. It opens with a low beat jingle which sets the atmosphere to be quite dull. The first person then begins to complain about how the newspaper he reads at the minute is rubbish and has a lack of good articles. His wife then enters the conversation by introducing the 'Mosely Gazzette'. The beat of the music turns into an upbeat jingle which implies that the newspaper is a lot better and uplifts the mood.

The conversation they have consists of the women describing the newspaper and uses words such as 'simple' ande 'price busting' which make the audience attracted through the use of these buzz words. Each question the man asks, she answers reassuring him that it is the perfect newspaper for him.

It is located in 'all good newsagents' therefore this implies that the newspaper must be good for it to be found in good newsagents.

I like the conversation flow in this advert and the jingles which is very effective as it makes the audience feel a part of the conversation and creates a good atmosphere. They make it a lot more interesting and it will attract a wide range of people as they have used a regular couple to advertise the advert.

This is the final radio advert which I researched. The radio advert has its own edge to it and the music has reference to a build up of something because of the beat. As the music gets closer to the end it builds up even more and finishes with a high upbeat tone. This drags the audience in as it builds the suspense up right until the very end and finishes with them feeling like it has made the atmosphere seem better.

The voice over fits in nicely with the music as it is similar to the voice over of a film advert which creates suspense towars the film, and similarily this advert is creating suspense towards the newspaper. The voice over makes the auience feel like everyone is accepted to read this newspaper as it reads out normal, working class jobs therefore it implies the target audience is for a wide range of people.

I like this advert as the suspense and use of other convetions from other adverts helps the selling of the newspaper.
